Barbera d’Alba D.O.C.


Dry and generous red wine, fruity and slightly sapid, this wine is made from the best grapes of some of our oldest vineyards. It has a full body, a complex energy and a deep richness of flavors. Bacause of these features it can be considered a superior quality wine; it pairs perfectly with a large variety of food, like coldcuts, pasta dishes, white and red meat, game and cheeses

Vinification: The super selected grapes are harvested after complete ripening to start immediately the vinification process. The must and skins fermentation takes 10 to 12 days at a temperature of 29 Degrees Celsius, and good care is put into the malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in small durmast barriques, to give balance and elegance

Color: Intense purple red with dark red hints

Nose: Fruity, complete and persistent

Tasting notes: Simple, armonic, balanced acidity, good body and great personality
